One thing I wish I knew when I was younger was the power of being educated,

Not the powers of being medicated, but the power of elevation,

The power of learning the things that I didn’t know,

It’s a fact that if you learn more, the more you grow, the more you develop

The more you know, the more productive you will be, the more prepared you will become,

What it is you don’t know, find out, learn how to get to the answers,

Being educated is like learning how to fly a plane, don’t become impacted by what it is you don’t’ know, find out about it,

Learning how to write your name, learning how to count, learning how to trust or who to trust, learning how to develop your mind, body, and souls,

Learning how to understand life and the pain that comes with it, turn your losses into gains, by becoming educated,

Learning how to suffer within yourself until you find a way to make it better for your self,

The combination between hustling and becoming educated has always been the common factor, when you become educated,

I don’t understand how some folks don’t want to be educated, or have a lack of knowledge towards what being educated is all about,

However, you can’t tell them nothing, because they don’t know, and won’t show their lack of knowledge,

Some folks already know it all, and there is nothing they are willing to learn, because they know it all,

They have all the answers, only to understand they don’t know how they got to the answer,

All the pieces to the puzzle, however the puzzle is still missing a piece, that piece is the knowledge of self,

The educated ones always find a way to make it through the day, through the months, over and over through the years,

When youth become misguided, miseducated, misinformed, misunderstood, misinterpreted,

Then you become miseducated for no reason because you choose to not be educated,

To the real issues that life has promised us, there’s so many resources to enlighten your brain,

Like drugs and gun violence, a learned behavior that should be exempt from the educational process,

Being educated shouldn’t have to be forced on you, it’s given to you open handily,

When you have the opportunity to be educated and elevated to a higher standard for free,

Only to understand that it’s your life that requires education,

I’d wish I could turn back the hands of time ,

Because the one thing that I wish I had done differently,

Was to honor my education
