Today I woke up and realized that life is what we live for

Life isn’t always a joy ride or a day at an amusement park

Life is the realist feature that God has allowed us as humans to experience,

Whether your circumstances are good or bad,

You still have the opportunity to open your eyes and see how beautiful life can be,

I wonder how some choose to use mental health as an excuse to give up on their life,

Some choose drugs to hide the pains and hardships life has provided,

Because we chose to wake up and attack the days ahead,

We must understand the power of just being woke,

I asked someone, hey how’s your day,

In return they said well it’s great, I could have woke up dead,

Don’t allow death to be more important than life,

Don’t shoot to kill , in return your killing your own dreams in the process,

It’s hard to wake up sometimes but as the years go by you realize you’ve woken up a million times,

Over and over again and again you wake up to do it all over again,

That’s Gods blessing, that’s what it feels like to be woke,

So I’m always grateful to God that I opened my eyes, that I also Woke Up,

Along with the other millions of people I’ve seen day in and day out,

Don’t sleep on your dreams, don’t sleep on your reality,

Stay Woke, and stay involved’
